Today was a good day!

I did a 20 min hill run today with a 5 min warm-up (6.0 mph at 2% incline) and the 15 min alternating between 1 min at 6.0 mph at 3% incline and 1 min at 4.0 mph at 6-12% incline. The adrenaline was definitely pumping!

My shins hurt when I run!

So I ran a little bit less than a mile and my shins began hurting (again). Should I run through the pain or not? That is the question. I was running on the treadmill and I'd prefer to run outside. I'm going to run three miles today whether I like it or not. Running against my will baby!

Today is a new day!

I will run today. I just taught my first class of the day. The next one will begin in 5 minutes. Afterwards I will run and then hopefully take a hot Pilates class.

Six weeks out from my first 10K

It's 7 minutes to 11pm and I teach tomorrow morning at 530am and 730am. I'm exhausted and I didn't run today. I need to run 3 miles tomorrow. I guess it really needs to go on my calendar so that I DO IT!
